Steering Ball Joint Maintenance Kit

Replaces both left and right ball joints, plus Teflon lubrication for Edson steering system. The picture is of parts similar to the original but has recently changed to an all stainless steel design which requires a spacer under the ball joint, which is included with the kit. Also please note that one ball joint has left-hand threads and the other has right-hand threads.

PLEASE NOTE: Later in the production run Hunter switched from an Edson Steering system to a Lewmar Steering system. This Joint Replacement/Maintenance Kit is only for use with the Edson system.

If your pedestal assembly has a fiberglass housing, it likely encases the Edson Steering system. If you are not sure which system is on your boat please contact us. Attach a photo of your pedestal we can tell you which system you have.
