This is an updated replacement assembly for the original in-deck solar panel found on many Hunters from the mid-90s through early 2000s.
The panel itself has been updated to a high quality, flexible, ruggedized 37 watts unit (increased from the original 11 watts) that is sturdy enough to walk on. Made in Sweden.
The replacement trim ring is cut from Star Board and has a channel on the bottom to accommodate various wiring runs. It is also available for models not listed here, but we will need a tracing to confirm the radius of the trim ring.
Due to the higher output, a regulator is required. It is wired into the circuit at the battery switch on most models. Without a regulator you run the risk of frying your battery. (Please note: electrical parts are not returnable but we do guarantee fit.)
Because marine electrical circuits are often complicated and can cause severe hazards if improperly installed, we urge you to have this wired by a marine electrician.
