Replacing a Teleflex MV-2 shifter

Remove three screws from the face of the unit, two on top and aone on the bottom.

Label the cables based on where they connect to the old shifter. Then disconnect cables and temporarily secure them to the outside of the pedestal.

This is the original cutout, which will need to be enlarged.

Affix the template for the new shifter to the pedestal, centering it over the cutout. You will probably need to enlarge the hole.

This installation required the cutout to be enlarged on the left and right side. It may be necessary to fill in the old screw holes with epoxy, if the new screw holes will be close to them.

Connect the cables as described in the installation instructions and mount unit to the pedestal with the screws provided.

Apply faceplate and handle. Be sure to carefully follow all installation instructions provided with the new shifter.
