How to select replacement deck fill caps

Over the years Hunter has used several deck fill assemblies for water, fuel, and waste access. Due to supply shortages, overstocks, or what-have-you, deck fills frequently changed from one boat to the next... even boats of the same year and model.

How to identify a replacement cap

1. Unless a prior owner has made some sloppy alterations, all of the deck fills on your boat should be made by the same manufacturer
2. Have a tape measure and one of your existing caps ready
3. Measure the diameter of top cap and the diameter of the threaded plug.
4. Tip: The best way to measure the diameter of the threaded plug is to wrap a string about the plug, then measure the string and divide by 3.14 (pi)
5. Compare your cap and the its measurements to the parts shown below
6. These styles are NOT interchangeable. Only one will fit your boat!
