The Rescue Pod is a high quality inflatable flotation platform with a fully enclosed canopy. The Pod designation indicates that the canopy inflates and is self-supporting, but does not include a rigid tube for support like a life raft. The Rescue Pod supports four people, offers basic protection from the elements, stores in the same volume as an immersion suit, and weighs only 33 lbs. in the soft valise case. It can be carried aboard the smallest open sport fishing boat, day cruiser or sailboat. Although small in packed size, the Rescue Pod is extremely tough and durable.
