Just like our Lifeline Backrest Cushions, these are modified for gate use. (Please note, these are not sold as a pair.)

Made of closed cell foam, they will not absorb water and are covered with tough marine Sunbrella, they have a PVC pipe on the inside of the foam to keep the lifeline from cutting into the foam cushion. The inside diameter of the PVC pipe is 5/8 inch. End stops are cemented to the foam and PVC pipe to keep the foam from sliding. String ties at each end allow the cushions to be secured in place. After removal of the lifeline end fitting (pelican hook or turnbuckle) the lifeline slides easily through the inner PVC tube and the end fitting is re-installed.
