Initial fast cranking with one hand on the top of the Power-Grip handle is easy. When the load comes on, and it's time to shift gears, the second hand grips the main shaft handle and the serious grinding takes place. All handles are fitted with dual ball races. The top is molded from a softer material for comfort under light loads and as the load comes on the effort shifts on the side of the flat edge of the mushroom which is angled to accept maximum input. The carbon racing winch handle, designed predominately for the racing market, has evolved to offer maximum strength in a lightweight general purpose handle.
