End sloppy steering and broken aluminum tillers with this stainless steel tillerhead assembly. The new system completely eliminates the aluminum tiller and the sheet metal tiller connection on your Hunter 170.

Simply remove the old tillers two mounting bolts and socket and replace with the stainless steel assembly that allows the tiller to be raised and lowered for convenience. This is a very quick five-minute installation. The stainless steel tillerhead and tiller brackets carry a lifetime warranty, with a full three-year warranty on the tiller.

The wood tiller is built from eight strips of laminated African mahogany and American white ash and glued in proprietary molds to produce tillers for specific Hunter boat models. This cockpit centerpiece comes ready-to-varnish with marine penetrating oil.
