Transient Spike Protector
A Transient Spike Protector (TSP) can limit the ability of stray voltage to damage diodes and other system components sacrificing itself before more expensive components are affected.
Installed between alternator's positive output and preferred ground. Guards against someone inadvertantly turning the main battery switch to the Off position while the engine is running.
