They are mounted with half-hinges allowing them to be easily removed and stored as needed. In addition, a unique feature of these doors is that no screws are exposed on the outside of the door - note the hidden hinges in the image above. This gives an added level of protection to your items below.

They come standard with the tinted windows and an install kit. If you would like screens in addition to the windows - you will need to select that option. For the doors with the screen option, the windows simply lift out for ease - no dis-assembly required.

There are several locking options, or you can use the hasp and lock from your existing hatchboards.

The doors come standard with a locking hasp - pictured on the doors above.

A door button is mounted on the inside of the doors and is used to secure the doors from coming open when under sail or in rough seas. Locate the button within reach of the top of the doors and you can simply reach in from outside to lock or unlock by rotating the black knob.

A keyed hasp is functionally the same as the locking hasp above, but instead of a pad lock, you can use a key to secure the door.

The Cam Lock works with a keyed cylinder which goes through the door and attaches to an affixed lever rotating 180 degrees to secure the doors.

Measuring for your doors:
Each set of doors will be custom made to measurements you provide. After ordering, we'll send you a link to provide us with the make, model and year of your boat, plus a place to upload images of your companionway. We'll analyze the images and send you clear, illustrated measuring instructions based on the configuration of your companionway. If your companionway way has an arched top or any complicated radiuses - a template will be required. Again, we'll send you simple instructions on how to make the template.

Starboard fascia Kit:
If your companionway has aluminum track for the hatchboards or stainless steel fascias for the hatchboards, you must also order the Starboard Fascia kit.
