| Gray Ports Lower than Pompanette prices! Many popular sailboats were built with the venerable Gray molded portlights. Now, thanks to Bomar, they are back in production and available to replace ports that are old, crazed, or leaking. Available in black or white trim color, clear or tinted lens, complete with trim ring and screen. All ports feature stainless steel hardware and rugged molded plastic frame and trim. How to select the right port Size Measure the outside diameter (left edge to right edge) of the base and compare it to the dimension we call Base O.D. size. Clear or tinted lens We recommend the clear lens for waters where you want maximum light below; the tinted lens for hot climates. Angled spigot The term spigot refers to the part that goes through the fiberglass and extends beyond it to the outside. An angled spigot means the lip of the port angles down toward the deck. If the spigot type is not specified it is a straight (horizontal) spigot. Straight drain A straight spigot that includes drain holes to help remove standing water from outside the lens. Angled drain An angled spigot that includes drain holes to help remove standing water from outside the lens.
