The backstay insulator used at the top and bottom of the backstay will convert the backstay of a yacht into an efficient two-way radio antenna and/or the new single sideband installation. In all sizes the insulator body is stronger than the swage fitting and the guaranteed break strain far exceeds that of premium grade wire.
